On-Demand (Tankless) Hot Water Heaters

The way most households in this country heat water is absurdly wasteful. We fill up big 40- to 50-gallon storage tanks, then pour energy into them 24/7, year in and year out, to make sure we have hot water at the ready whenever we want it. But often it doesn’t work out that way. If a teenager takes a long shower, or a spouse settles in for a tub soak, there can be a long wait for that emptied tank to reheat. Then there are the nagging worries: Is it filled with energy-robbing sediment? Will it spring a leak? Both are reasonable concerns, as tanks generally fail in 8 to 12 years.

Copperline can get you an appropriately-sized on-demand system and help reduce your continuing donations to the power company.

We have NEVER failed

We have NEVER failed yet to open a drain. No matter how clogged. No matter the cause.

Our techs have snakes that will reach to the street.

Avoid Drano & Caustic Sodas & Lye. Please.

In 35+ years we have never met a homeowner who claimed to have successfully opened a drain with this stuff. We have, however, seen more than a few drain pipes with holes eaten out of the bottom.

Also the tiniest splash WILL eat a hole in your clothes. And your eyeballs.

Besides which, the plumber who ultimately cleans your drain will not appreciate the caustic chemicals.

Video inspection

See inside the pipe

Do you have recurring drain or sewer problems? Are you still getting clogs even after cleaning out your drains? There is probably some damage in your pipes that a normal cleaning can’t solve.

Video pipe technology is noninvasive. This means there is no need for excavation or digging. A camera attached to a cable is simply inserted into the drain and maneuvered through the pipe; the flexible cable can easily go around pipe bends, allowing us full access to your drain and sewer lines.

Using a monitor specially designed for this work, we can receive real-time footage from the camera as it moves down the line. Copperline will know exactly what the problem is, and more importantly, exactly where it is.

Sewer Cleaning Policy

We have the most up-to-date sewer cleaning equipment and all of our technicians are trained and have years of experience in the plumbing/drain cleaning field.

Because of the nature of drain cleaning, it is impossible for us to guarantee that the drain will stay clear for any period of time. This is not an arbitrary or capricious decision on our part, but a necessary one. I ask you to consider the following reasons for this decision:

  1. It is impossible for us to see down the drain and actually see the condition of the pipe or the cause of the stoppage. There is now equipment that can put a camera down the drain so one can see what the problem is and if it has been corrected. This, however, is only possible with the larger lines like a main sewer or sewer stack, and it is very costly. Because of these factors, it is not practical, and in many cases, not possible, to do this on every drain.
  2. We have no control of how the drain is used and what may be put down the drain line after we have cleared it and leave the premises. We have very few recurring problems after we have cleared a drain. We believe the reason our recurrence is so low is the process we go through when clearing a drain.
  • As we mentioned above, we use the latest equipment.
  • Our technicians are trained and experienced.
  • We flush out the drain after cleaning and test by operating the fixture on the drain, be it toilet, sink or bathtub, several times to insure a good flow down the drain.

There are companies who do guarantee the drains they clear for a period of time. They, however, have no better equipment, no better trained or experienced technicians. They simply charge everyone a little extra so when they do have to go back to clear a drain again, they have the profit built in. We don’t think it fair because your neighbor has a problem drain, you have to pay extra when we clear your drain. Since this recurrence only happens once in every twenty to thirty drains cleared, you will probably never have it happen to you, but we felt you should know our policy and the reasons for it in advance.

Copperline Plumbing and Drains, LLC will not be responsible for failure to retrieve any sewer cable or TV equipment, nor will it be held liable for expenses incurred for excavation, retrieval or replacement cost of said cable or TV equipment or damage to house structure caused in an effort to retrieve said equipment.
